Children’s Ministries

I guess you could say Children’s Ministries have always been my passion. My dream career was always to be a wife and mom. By God’s grace He allowed me to do just that for our 4 great kids for over 34 years. Along side that career the Lord has graciously allowed me the honor of discipling children in their walk with God through the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship for the last 30 years as well.

Working with and telling children stories of God comes fairly naturally to me since my childhood was immersed amongst children’s ministry workers and captivating Bible story tellers. As a young girl, my dad was the Bible camp story teller summer after summer. and camp after camp. Known as “Uncle Vaughan”, his stories of God portrayed how real and active God is in everyday lives.

As a stay at home mom I was given the opportunity to work with Child Evangelism Fellowship in 1995 as the children’s letter writer, For 30 years it has been my joy to disciple kids of all ages through the Mail Box Club. I love sharing exciting stories from the Bible and my own life that encourage faith in God and His Word.

God and His Word are wondrously exciting! My heart’s desire is to be a clear communicator of the gospel, teaching others to accept, rely and trust the Lord in this new life which Christ has begun in them. It’s not a wonder that no matter our age, hearing the stories of God never gets old!
